Obesity and Alcohol: An Overview

A new report from the National Obesity Observatory (NOO) gives an overview of the current evidence on the relationship between obesity and alcohol. The report found that the association between obesity and alcohol consumption is multifaceted being influenced by individual characteristics such as body weight, diet, genetic factors, gender and physical activity levels as well as the frequency, pattern, amount and types of drinks consumed.
